NEW Building at 2617 Augustine Herman Highway
December 2007 - January 2008

Some quick shots of the new building we are constructing at 2617 Augustine Herman Highway (next to the shop)
in Chesapeake City - also known as Ernie's new homestead!

We contracted with http://delmarvapolebuildingsupply.com to build a 24' x 30' custom two car garage/shop behind the
ranch house next to the shop in South Chesapeake City, Maryland.

We thought you might like to keep up with some pictures of the construction.  There is LOTS to do with the house
also, BUT we need storage to put Ernie's "hanger stuff" so he can get back a bedroom, garage, and dining room which
is filled with the hanger 'stuff' (if you know what I mean!).

December 22^nd, 2007 - Site Preparation (by US) to make ready for construction to start soon! (12 pictures)

December 27^th, 2007 - First day of site preparation by DelMarVa Pole Building contractor - site work and dirt! (6 pictures)

December 31^st, 2007 - Drill the holes and deliver more materials! (27 pictures)

January 2^nd, 2008 - The poles go up and it looks like a building! (31 pictures)

January 3^rd, 2008 - And the TRUSSES go up - 'J' channel too! - and it's 19° and windy!! ( 50 pictures)

January 4^th, 2008 - Roof, Door and Windows go up! - warmer and not as Windy - blue skies! (69 pictures)

January 7^th, 2008 - The sides go up, the eves get capped - A beautiful WARM day in January (60 pictures)

January 8^th, 2008 - It's all in the Trim and Details - Another beautiful day in January!! (32 pictures)

January 9^th, 2008 - Getting ready for the concrete, more 'select fill' and site grading ( 22 pictures)

January 14^th, 2008 - The gutters and downspouts go UP! (4 pictures)
