First day of Site preparation by the builders!

After removing 6" of topsoil, they put in the 3 truckloads (45 yards) of packing stone/dust for the building on the site.

If you look close you can see the flags of the building size 24' x 30'.

Looking toward the shop North East, my truck is at the hanger door.

The pile of building materials covered for rain.  Note the soft ground and mud after the rain - figures - it was bone dry all summer!

Nice view of the leveled off pad area looking North to the shop.  You can see the well top here next to the orange cone.
Wonder where that cone came from - hummm . . . .

Looking West towards the old Shed on the hill.  The orange markings in the foreground are from the Miss Utility guy who incorrectly
marked the OLD phone line.  Oh well, at least they showed, did something and left - forward!
