January 8th, 2008 pictures
It's all in the trim and detail - Another beautiful day in January!!

Good morning and details.  Larry and his helper working on the vertical corner caps - about 5" overlap on the corner.

The eve and soffit all boxed in - note the vertical corner cap here also - nice!

Finishing up the front - persuading the beam to get lined up - big block and sledge hammer will do it!

Another shot close up of the vertical corner cap.

If they don't seal the corners with caulk, I guess I will.

The Front almost done - note the soffit grey fascia.

Another view of the front 16' door opening.

Inside looking out - note the roof vent is still open at the very top of the picture - will be closed by the end of the day!

The front 16' door fascia - one more lower grey piece to install next.

East side view (house at my back) shaping up nicely.

Starting the roof top cover - no, they will cut that off later!

Larry spent most of the afternoon on the roof and ladder - just finishing up the roof cap here - only one piece to go.

Final piece installed on the front right of the big door side (SOUTH).

The door openings are capped with aluminum also, the garage door trim will cover that small piece of wood showing in this picture.

Another shot of the east side small door.

Looking in the side door to the front door at the right.

The Door is also trimmed in grey.

Windows with edge trim installed - they are thermo pane windows with screens!

The side door again - they will fix that little piece at the top left grey trim (I hope!) - I'll buy another piece if I have to.

One of the other windows with full trim.

That outside trim is plastic snapped onto the window itself - close up view.

Front door wrapped in grey trim.

More of the front door - note the muddy yard - welcome to construction!

Closing up the roof peak from inside.

Front door looking up the hill - late in the afternoon.

Larry is still inspecting the roof!

Finishing up the top cap and front fascia on the large door side.

Standing on the hill looking down at the house - back view of the garage - big door is to the right.

Another view further back up the hill.

Front fascia cap - just like the vertical corner caps shown earlier.

Now you can see what those front caps look like - not bad! - glad we went with a two/tone color scheme - really sets it off from a big white box!

It's getting dark and they want to finish up on the job - we finished and picked up in the dark under the back yard house lights.
